William H. "Bill" Roth
Bill Roth, 95, of Greeley, CO passed away peacefully on July 10, 2017, in Greeley.
He was born September 5, 1921 in Grover CO. to Alexander and Anna Roth (Nagel). Bill served his country in the Navy from 1944 – 1946. He was assigned to a large destroyer ship, the U.S.S. Meade. He spent much of his Military time in Pearl Harbor and the Philippine Islands. Bill worked as a mechanic for Dodge Motors in Greeley and later owned his own business with his brother Harry. He loved dancing with his wife Betty, hunting and fishing and playing cards with family and friends. He enjoyed taking trips to Black Hawk and watching the Broncos and the Rockies. He also enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren out to Grover, showing them the Ranch he grew up on with ten brothers and sisters and telling them stories about the area.
Bill is survived by his wife, Betty, three sons, Rick (Karen), Dennis (Maria), Larry (Melanie), six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Adamson Funeral Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 28th St., Greeley.
