Domingo R. Salazar
Domingo Salazar, 68, of Greeley, CO passed away on May 21, 2017 at Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Domingo was born on May 30, 1948 in San Marcos, TX to Biviano and Maria (Ramirez) Salazar. He grew up in San Marcos and Greeley. In 1965, Domingo married Connie Gonzalez.
Domingo worked for Monfort Beef, BFI, and Waste Management.
He enjoyed fishing, dancing, singing, playing pool, and loved the Dallas Cowboys, but most important to Domingo was his family.
Domingo is survived by his wife, Connie of Greeley; daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Aguirre of Greeley; sons, Donald (Joyce) Salazar of Greeley, Dino (Julie) Salazar of Greeley, Domingo Salazar, Jr. of Greeley, and Robert Salazar of Greeley; live-in-children, Felicia Salazar, and Raquel Gonzalez; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Stella Gutierrez of Fort Collins, CO; brothers, Pete Salazar of Greeley, and Joe Salazar of Fort Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diana; brothers, Jesse, Candlarios, and John; sister, Linda; and grandchild, Joey Garza.
A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Adamson. A Life Celebration service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Greeley First Assembly of God, 3000 16th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
