Philip K. Nething
Philip “Phil” Nething, 78, of Greeley, CO passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Phil was born on December 10, 1938 in Ravenna, OH to Fred and Grace (Kropp) Nething. He grew up in Ravenna and attended high school there. On March 18, 1958 in Edgefield, SC, Phil married Grace Bernardine.
Phil owned Pacific Frame and Body Works in Los Angeles, CA and later, Western Frame and Body Works in Greeley. He loved to hunt deer, elk, and varmints. Phil was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Greeley and the Colorado Bowhunters Association.
Phil is survived by his wife, Grace of Greeley; children, Philip Keith (Pam) Nething of Montrose, CO, Renee Lanette (Rudy Joe Madrid) Harris of Severance, CO, and Joseph Derek Nething of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jessica Melson of Windsor, CO, and Joshua Nething of Montrose; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Arlene) Nething of Washington, and Fred (Thais) Nething of Arizona; and his dog, Beau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
A service to celebrate Phil’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3800 West 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
