Hannah Rein, 98, of Fort Collins died October 23, 2016 at Lemay Avenue Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Collins.
Hannah was born March 12, 1918 to Henry and Henrietta Bastrom in Ritzville, Washington. Her family moved to Colorado in 1929. She married Peter Rein on August 5, 1935 in Fort Collins. They farmed most of their lives in the Kersey, Timnath, and Fort Collins area.
Survivors include her sons, Donald (Dorothy) Rein, Duane (Sandy) Rein; daughters, Delores Brethauer, Donna Held, Diane (Dennis) Maybon, and Sandra McClure; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Elmer Bastrom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter; one son, Russell; three son-in-laws, Floyd Brethauer, Robert Held, James McClure; three brothers, Melvin, Victor, and Reuben Bastrom; and three sisters, Henrietta Maier, Viola Buxbaum, and Frieda Rein.
Viewing will be on October 31, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Adamson Chapel with a graveside service following at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
