Obituary for Dennis Ray Ginther

Dennis R. Ginther, 72, of Greeley, CO passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to Raymond and Lydia (Keil) Ginther on May 4th, 1948 in Sterling, CO.

Dennis was a devoted father and grandpa who loved spending time with his grandkids. Dennis enjoyed nights out with his children and former wife, Kerri Brewer, listening to music and dancing. Dennis and Kerri maintained a deep and yet comical relationship with one another up to his passing. Dennis was a true lover of Oldies and Country music. He was a great craftsman, most known to many for building fishing pole holders, though his talent and skills carried far beyond those. He cherished his cherry red 1959 Chevy El Camino that was passed to him by his father, which he later restored to extraordinary beauty.

Dennis was an avid fisherman who greatly enjoyed countless fishing trips up to Wyoming with family and friends. Dennis retired in 2015 after 15 years of employment with American Eagle Distribution, owned by Jerry Helgeson. Dennis was a great friend and neighbor who was always there to lend a helping hand or tool, or pull a prank or two. His humor and shenanigans were endless fun and entertainment to all those around him. He was cared about and loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.

Dennis is survived by his children Brian (Kimberly) Ginther of Firestone, Brandi Snell of Greeley, four grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Eva and Rebekah Ginther of Firestone, Brenna and Talan Snell of Greeley, London of Firestone and long-time special friend and confidant Kerri Brewer of Platteville.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister Julia.
