Obituary for Virginia Marie Burns (Corum)

Virginia "Ginni" Burns lived life to the fullest. She was married to her high school sweet-heart, John Burns on August 11, 1967, and they enjoyed 52 years of love and adventure together. They have a daughter, Heather Wood (Gordon) in Colorado Springs, and two grandchildren, Nate and Natalie Wood. John and Virginia also have a son, Sean Burns (Cathy) in Sache, TX and four grandchildren, Taylor Irby, Hanna, Jacob and Britta Burns.
She was an outgoing and enthusiastic person who loved to laugh and share stories and experiences with others. She loved to share the love of Jesus and how He had worked in her life. She always worked hard to make birthdays, holidays, visits and time with her family and friends special. She was a great encourager and was loved by many folks and furry friends.
Virginia had been involved as a leader in her community over the years through: Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Art and Humanities in Aurora, teaching Sunday School classes of all ages, and as a guest speaker at various events and organizations.
Ginni prayed faithfully for scores of people over the years.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.
