Obituary for Tyler Hunter Green

Tyler Green, 35, of Greeley, CO passed away on January 5, 2019.

He was born on February 22, 1983 to Matthew and Kris (Kanzler) Green. Tyler spent his whole life in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School, where he wrestled, played football, and was an Eagle Scout. He married his high school sweetheart, Nichole Wells July 6, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Greeley.

Tyler and Nichole welcomed their first daughter Morgan, April 8th, 2004 and 15 months later welcomed Hailey, July 30,2005. Tyler loved his girls more than anything and did all he could to provide for them. Tyler learned and worked in construction with his dad and grandfather. He was a 9th generation plaster. He loved to work out and lift weights. He loved the Broncos and collected Broncos memorabilia. Every year Tyler would travel to Omaha, NE to go to the College World Series.

Tyler is survived by his wife, Nichole of Greeley; daughters, Morgan and Hailey both of Greeley; siblings, Felicia Miller of Greeley, Dustin (Jessica) Green of Greeley, and Sierra (Noah Nelson) Green of Greeley; parents, Matthew and Kris Green of Greeley; grandparents, Karyl Green and Connie Coffman; in-laws, Dave and Char Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Life Celebration Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Crossroads Church of Greeley, 1091 10th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the “Morgan and Hailey Green College Donation Fund” in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
