Obituary for Shirley Bullard

Shirley Ann Bullard, 85, of Greeley, CO. passed away on November 23, 2018 at Bonnell Good Samaritan in Greeley, Colorado. She was born November 13, 1933 to William H. and Stella J. (McClellan) Hurrelbrink in Lemoyne, Ohio.
Shirley moved with her family to La Junta, Colorado in 1950 where she met her high school sweetheart, Richard O. Bullard. They were married in 1951 and had 4 children. She was a dedicated mother who took time away from her role as a legal secretary, housekeeper, and stockroom clerk to give birth and raise each of her children. She often stated that she officially retired to be a housewife in 1991 after working 20 years for Sears in Northglenn, Colorado.
She was active in Altar Guild and SHARE Colorado with her church. Her favorite hobbies were puzzles, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Greeley; children, Dianne Frazer of Cheyenne, WY; William (Cynthia) Bullard of Denver, CO; two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter; sister, Janet Miller of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rondey Bullard; brother, Leonard Hurrelbrink; sister, Carol Zenz.
Life Celebration memorial will be held at 10 am, on Friday, November 30, 2018, at First United Methodist Church, 316 Elizabeth Ave in Platteville.
