Obituary for Joyce Ann Waag

Joyce Ann Waag, 73, of Pierce passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at NCMC. She was born July 1, 1945 in Loveland to Robert and Eleanor (Frank) Kerbel. She attended schools in Johnstown where she grew up.
She met Larry Waag in Windsor and they were married in 1970.
Joyce worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant, specializing in Alzheimer’s care, for 30 years at Windsor Health Care and then Life Care Center for 5 years.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking family dinners, her Green Bay Packers, and reading. She loved her dogs; Tubby, Buffy and most recently Cuddles. In their earlier years, they attended Faith UCC, Windsor and enjoyed going to Dutch Hops. She also crocheted a number of blankets for family members through the years.
Thankful to have shared her life are her husband, Larry; children, Larry (Vicki) Waag, Jr. of Ault, Randy (Holly) Waag and Jodi (Neal) Morse all of Fort Collins; four grandchildren, Misty Mullett, Nicole Goodridge, Megan Waag and Shant’ee Lopez; 9 great-grandchildren and her brother, Robert (Sheri) Kerbel of Greeley, and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Darlene Kraus and nephew, Monty Kraus.
Visitation from 12’noon to 1 p.m. followed by Life Celebration service at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 15 at Adamson. Interment Ault Cemetery.
