Print
Diego Herrera Vega, 26, of Greeley, passed away on November 4, 2018 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Martin and Maria (Vega) Herrera on September 18, 1992 in Mexico.
Diego pursued health and fullness in his life and living his best life when he passed away. His relationship with God was growing, giving him hope and energy, recently finding life in the song “Good, Good Father” by Chris Tomlin. His willingness to help others in a time of need was legendary among family and friends. Diego’s brain worked in the mechanical world; give him a car or any physical thing to fix, and he worked until it was fixed perfectly. He loved trucks, especially his 1995 Chevy short box Silverado. He enjoyed welding, the junk yard, sketching, candy and his dog, Frost. Above all, though, he loved and cherished his family.
Diego is survived by his wife, Brenda Aguilera; parents; siblings, Gabriel Herrera, Juan Herrera, Martha Herrera, and Christian Herrera; grandparents, Felipe Garcia, Concepcion Serrano; and numerous friends and family.
Diego was proceeded in death by Damian Vega.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2018 at 6 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7 pm; both at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on November 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace, 1311 3rd Street in Greeley.
