Phyllis Gettman, 92, died June 30, 2018 in Greeley, CO.

She married Harold “Kayo” Gettman October 21, 1941 and was married 55 years until his death.

A lifelong resident of Greeley she enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing and driving fast! Years after she stopped driving she would tell stories of her cars.

Phyllis’ true love was always her family. She hosted countless family holidays, birthdays, and garden parties in a house that turned family into friends.

Survived by her best friend and sister Shirley Flohr and sister Charlene Wares; sister in law Marcella Penton; son Rodney (Deb) Gettman; Karen (Robert) Franz; six grandkids, 10 great grandkids and one great great grandchild; also nieces and nephews and many friends.

Preceded in death husband Kayo, sister Merle Holstin, brother Ronald Penton and countless cars…seriously

Funeral Service at 10:30 Friday July 6, 2018 at Adamson’s Funeral Home. Viewing will be Thursday July 17, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. also at Adamson.
