Diana P. Vigil, 64, of Greeley, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born August 11, 1953 in LaParda, NM to Ricardo and Emma (DeHerrera) Conway. She spent her childhood in Watrous, NM and received her education in Wagon Mound, NM where she was a cheerleader. She also attended Robertson High School in Las Vegas, NM.

On February 2, 1974, she married John Vigil in Las Vegas, NV. They moved the family to Colorado in 1980. She worked as a CNA in New Mexico and Greeley, CO over 30 years.

Diane loved to crochet, work in her garden, grow house plants, collect Winnie the Pooh, owls and dolls. In her younger years she also enjoyed dancing with John.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and helped in the classroom when her children were growing up.

Survivors include her husband, John; children; Loretta (Volyd) Yazzie, Julian “Pete”, Tim (Lucille) and Joe (Jennifer) Vigil; 15 grandchildren, siblings; Lucy (Clarence) Romo, Patsy (Kenny) Lucero, Carlos (Della) and Benito Cdebaca.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Conway, brother, Anthony DeHerrera and grandchild Angelica Pino.

Visitation 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 followed by Rosary at 7 p.m. at Adamson. Funeral service 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at adamsoncares.com.
