Carolyn Hijar
Carolyn Hijar, 67, of Greeley passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at TRU Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born April 22, 1951 in Denver to Marshall and Verna (Espinosa) Hijar.
Carolyn was raised in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School.
She worked at Montgomery Wards, managed a Conoco station and worked as a fuel manager at Safeway for the past 15 years.
She loved animals and being in her home surrounded by family. She loved the color, purple and her family enjoyed her Mexican food dishes.
Survivors include her children, John Huerta, Jr., Linda (Noé) Vicente and Renée McWhirt; five grandchildren, Leah Rae Lopez, Emiliano, Adrian and Nicolas Terrones and Alani Vicente; siblings, Shirley Hijar, Randy (Glenda) Hijar, Bill (Julie) Pearson and Dalene (Doug) Bloom.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Life Celebration Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Adamson with a reception to follow at the LaSalle Eagles, 601 N. 2nd Street, LaSalle.
