Condolences

Condolence From: Megan Miller
Condolence: Megan was one of my roommates in college, one of the best ever. We had a lot in common with band, and we also loved football, good music, and having fun pulling silly pranks. Megan was such a beautiful person with a good heart. Rolla was pretty far from home for both of us so we looked after each other. Although I didn't keep up with her very well in recent years, I have such fond memories of her and she is always in my heart. Praying for you George, Carol, George, and family in this difficult time.

Condolence From: Adam R McDonough
Condolence: I have many fond memories of Megan's smile and laughter that would light up the room or any space that she was in at the time. When she was young (4 or 5 years old), I spent a few months staying with my brother's family while I attended college classes. That summer she was my best buddy. I used to call her "Magoo" short for Megan Magoo. (Not sure how that got started) When I would get back from class she would say with such zeal: "Come on uncle Adam, lets play wrestle!" I collected a few bruised ribs that summer as she like to wrestle using the "flying leap to the chest technique".

Through the years as life moved on, whenever we would visit with George, Carol and family, one of the highlights of the visits was that sweet smile and contagious laughter that Megan possessed. Megan was so good with our kids when we visited as she was with all her younger cousins. They seemed to migrate to her instantly.

While all are hearts are broken with the loss of Megan in our lives, I get a smile on my face when I think of the time I spent with her and the joy she brought with her presence.

"Blessed are those that mourn, for they will be comforted. - Matthew 5.v4

Condolence From: Barb McDonough
Condolence: My times spent with Megan were, for the most part, talking about music. All kinds of music. Megan and I had something in common, and that was we played in our respective high school marching band, me with the trumpet and Megan on trombone. She always had a smile and a huge hug when we saw each other. Living with several states between us, those talks, smiles, and hugs meant all the more to me when we were able to connect. Megan, I hope you knew how much your Aunt Barb loved you, and I will always hold you in a special place in my heart. Rest easy now until we see each other again.

Condolence: Aunt Carol, Uncle George, & George, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Megan was a funny and kind person and it is truly a shame we lost her so early. Some of my fondest memories of her is when she lived in Columbus and dad would take me up there for concerts. We always stayed with her and she was always up for sitting around and chatting no matter how late we got there. In hindsight I'm sure it was annoying to have her teenage cousin blabbing away about some concert or whatever, but she never showed it. Her humor and generous personality will be sorely missed.

Condolence: Megan was such a good friend in High School. Countless hours we hung out. She was the best listener. Kind, caring, and funny. She loved music.

Condolence From: Margo Simmons
Condolence:
Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons
