Obituary for
Andrew "Andy" Miller
Andy D. Miller, 16, of Pierce, CO passed away June 8, 2018 from injuries during an auto accident. Andy was born December 22, 2001 in Greeley, CO to Carl and Dana Miller. Andy was the youngest child of three brothers.
A soon to be junior at Highland High School, he was a fun-loving and genuine person who was also smart and selfless. Andy was always quick with a joke and a smile, sometimes a little too frequent. With an enjoyment for the outdoors he often went shooting and hunting. He was also a member of the Highland cross country and track teams. He also dabbled in wrestling and basketball. Andy spent most of his time with friends and family. The 4th of July was his favorite holiday because he loved shooting fireworks in the yard. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Deadpool and binge watching Netflix. Because Andy was the baby of the family, he watched and learned from his father and brothers what hard work was. When the family began working on a project, you would often find that 15 or 20 minutes into working, Andy had a special talent for disappearing. Nevertheless when the project was complete, he would arrive with a smile and pep in his step.
He is survived by his mother Dana Miller, brothers Jackson and Calvin, cousins David and Michael Jones, Jason and Jared Larson, Kirsten and Dylan Jones, and girlfriend Brianna Hines. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Miller, uncle Eric Jones, and grandfather Warren Miller.
Andy left us too soon due to the rollover accident. His family asks that you, please, take the extra second and buckle up!
A Life Celebration service will be held 2:00p.m. Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Highland High School, 208 W. 1st Street, Ault, CO.
