Obituary for Lynn L Lesh

Lynn L Lesh
Lynn Lowell Lesh, resident of Pierce, CO, formerly of Ault, CO, and Ft. Lauderdale Fl., passed away on May 24th, 2018 at the North Colorado Medical Center.

Lynn was born in Eaton, CO on February 26th, 1935 to Edwin Daniel Lesh and Esther Helen (McCormick) Lesh.

On September 13th, 1959 he married Patricia “Pat” Jean Patterson in Las Vegas, NV.
Lynn graduated from Pierce High school, and after a short time attending College in Fort Collins, he joined his Father, Edwin Lesh and brother Edwin “Peck” Lesh in the family water well drilling business. In 1978 he moved with his wife and two sons to Ft. Lauderdale Florida, where they owned and operated Lesh Drilling for twelve years. He returned to Colorado and purchased his home place and went back into the drilling business with his brother.

While in Florida. Lynn, Pat, Bruce and Scott worked hard operating Lesh Drilling. They really enjoyed cooling off in the ocean on their sailboat, scuba diving, and taking a dip in their pool. Lynn loved animals, and always had many around. He loved spending time with his wife, and his family. He had his scuba diving rating, and his pilot’s license. After his retirement, he enjoyed working in his work shop. He built many things throughout the years, including a few chairs, lamps, windmill coffee tables, cutting boards, etc. He spent the last couple of years building model ships and spent his last year building the USS Constitution. He didn’t quite finish the ship and Bruce will finish the rigging.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years; Patricia Jean “Pat”, his two sons, Bruce from Pierce, and Scott and wife Kristin from Nashville, TN; his brother, Edwin “Peck” Lesh and wife Billie of Loveland, CO, his four grandchildren: Tiffany Lesh, Denver, CO; Justin Lesh, Pierce and Jordyn and Camryn, Nashville, TN.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday June 1, 2018 at the Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the “Doc” Patterson Scholarship Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
