Dean Morgan West
Dean Morgan West, 50, of Greeley, CO passed away March 13, 2018 in Greeley. He was born
November 24, 1967 in Sterling, CO to Larry and Alta Ann (Morgan) West.
He attended school in Fleming CO until his junior year of high school when the family moved to Longmont, CO. He finished school at Longmont High School before joining the United States Army.
He served in Korea and was deployed to Iraq during Desert Storm. Dean drove trucks for several years before working for Weld County Sheriff’s Department. He was currently employed by Home Life Connection. He loved time spent with his family, especially his grandson Axel.
Dean is survived by his daughter Ashley Bello and husband, Andrew; parents, Larry and Alta Ann West; brother, Roy West and wife, Sarah; sister, Debra; grandson, Axel Bello; niece and nephew, Katelyn and Austin Hetzel and many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 2101 Fairway Lane, Greeley. Interment will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
