Carol Ward, 74, of Evans, CO formerly of Ft. Morgan, CO passed away March 4, 2018 in Greeley, CO
She was born October 4, 1943 in Midwest, WY to Vaughn and Opal (Motes) Adams.
Carol grew up in Riverton, WY and graduated from Riverton High in 1961. And graduated from St. Johns School of Nursing in Springfield, MO in 1964. She married Lionel Ward on June 27, 1968 in Riverton. Carol was a registered nurse for Mercy Hospital in Denver, Ft. Morgan Hospital and Valley View Villa. She took care of her husband with his neurological disease for 30 years. She enjoyed reading singing and sewing. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan and National Association of Nurses.
Carol is survived by her daughters Kimberly and Heather Ward both of Evans, her brothers Leo “Jerry” (Nola) Adams and Dick Adams and her sister Sandra Pomeroy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lionel, brothers Carl and Donald Adams and sister L. Maxine Weimer.
Memorial Service 10:00 A.M. Friday March 9, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1120 State St. Ft. Morgan.
